                             UHMW-PE Tubes


UHMW-PE sheet has many excellent properties such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, low coefficient of friction, self-lubricating. It is widely used in mining, textile, paper, chemical, power and etc area. While it is drawback, such as low hardness, low strength, low heat distortion temperature, high melt viscosity and poor flow properties, low critical shear rate melt fracture etc make them can not use ordinary injection molding machine or extruder molding process, thus greatly limits the application of UHMW-PE.

This product is modified using the modified method of physical blending, adding hollow glass beads after the coupling agent in maintaining the tensile strength of not less than 30Mpa, and effectively improved the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene melt viscosity, glass beads, ball shaft efficiency celebrate, reducing the high polyethylene melt flow resistance, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the processing performance. Glass beads not only improve the surface hardness of ultra-high polyethylene, and a corresponding increase in its heat resistance, friction coefficient, wear rate improved to a certain extent. Modified UMHW-PE in a twin-screw extruder, air-cooled die face palletizing. This feed material can be used for the processing of pipe, wood, small injection molded parts and molded products.

Technical Performance

A. Extremely high anti-abrasion: Owing to its particular molecular structure. Anti-abrasion performance of UHMW-PE is

higher than ordinary metal and plastic: 6.6 times of carbon steel. 55 times of stainless steel. 27.3 times of brass. 6 tmes of nylon and 5 times of PTFE

B Excellenl self-lubricating performance, belng low m friction coeffiaent and flow resistance, resulting in  low energy consumption.

C  Good in resisting impact. flexibility Even under low temperature and thunder impact. it does not break

D Being excellent in resisting chemical corrosion: it woks against all acid, alkali. salt mediumexcept concentrated sulfuric acid.dense nitric acid and some organic solvent.

E  Being free from toxin. smell or exudate

F Good electric reststance ,relatively low in water absorption.

G. Good periormance in resisting environment stress crack, 200 times of ordinary PE

H Excellence in withstanding low temperature It doesn' t become fragile even under -1800C surrounding temperature
